From this article, I have learnt that we should explore new construction method. It bring me out from the box of post and beam construction. No column, no pilaster, no wall , no ceiling... All should be one. It called continuity. It merging the wall into ceiling, merging the building element and structural element as one. It was like truely organic form in a mechanical or natural way. It is obvious to see in some folded plane architecture.

Frank L. Wright stated in the article that he meet the problem where engineer doesn't have the scientific formula to calculate it when he initially proposed his idea. But soon, engineer did come out the different formula for plasticity architecture. This not only bring up a new feature in architecture, it also indirectly bring a new structural system. For example , the cantilivered construction system. This remind me in the bus shelter assignment, when we deal with engineering student with our proposed design, we do meet the problem where they don't know how to calculate the structure and ask if we could change the design. But soon, they manage to find the way to calculate the load of structure.

Not only structural, the continuity could come up into the interior, like space planning, finished or up to furniture. One of the example that show this is the Hanna honeycomb house. From floor plan to the furniture, he maximized the use of hexagon.

Architecture is not about 4 wall and a roof. It is also not about the form and aesthetic from outside. We should create the sense of the space. And the function of the space will then create the form of the building. Also, all the joinery, structurally or internal finishing of a proposed building should be carefully consider, so that the architecture we proposed will be as one. For me, I'm trying to make my design to be as it, and I found that I should be more sensitive to what the user's experience, what they need and how should I integrate all this into my design and create the space and form which is as one. And I could explore more in creating edgeless contruction method, as it may bring up new feature, and might be more advance. Not only in the box of typical construction.
